This article contains spoilers for the fifth season Yellowstone.
yellowstone Fans are still reeling from the show’s first-ever midseason finale and the way it surprised them and left them wanting more. was a way to keep fans guessing before signing off for months.
Some fans saw an emotional and appropriate way to hit the pause (although no one is looking forward to waiting months for more episodes), but others Fans were unimpressed by the temporary Dutton sendoff. One of the most common complaints from fans of the series is that the hiatus is happening at all. They aren’t so excited to have to wait to see the rest of the episodes.
More than ever, the Dutton family are taking risks to fight external enemies and those that lurk in their own realm. Brother vs. brother, Dutton vs. Dutton, and family go against absolutely everyone with agendas that hurt their lives and livelihoods. It’s a power struggle at its most basic level, an exciting prospect all rolled into one, but some fans think it’s time to jump as far as the struggle between Beth and Jamie is concerned. increase.
Of course, the reason the power move hasn’t been played yet is that fans have discovered that Beth Dutton herself didn’t know about the family’s secret location, the train station. That’s right, her John Her Dutton daughter learned that her own father (and others on her ranch) had been taking her enemies to their final destination over the years. I did not know.
It seems she’s not the only one keeping secrets.
Many fans began watching the episode with a sense of urgency. Jamie was ready to destroy his family from the inside out, and with Sarah Atwood by his side, he found a new level of confidence.
When he took the stage to win as many voters as possible against John Dutton, he felt brave and started the war. Of course, the Duttons are no strangers to life-changing battles, but this time we see a different side to Jamie. He wants blood—that of Beth—and seems ready to take her life.
In fact, he’s taking steps to find out how to end his sister’s life, and he’s not the only one preparing. I said I thought it was time to get to the station myself. The camera panned out before I could hear John’s reaction, and before the events of the latest episode, I was betting money on the fact that John, no matter how despicable he acted, would never agree with his feelings. Okay, but certainly not now.
Perhaps John realized that what was in Jamie was a threat to his family. We may never hear those words out of his mouth, but we saw the look on his face – and it meant something.
It’s not hard to see why some fans absolutely loved the season finale, but others just couldn’t find the excitement they usually feel when watching a series. As the series evolves, along with its characters, there are things that fans love and things that they don’t. But die-hard fans are trying to find something to do in the time between new episodes.
This season is certainly a different and ever-evolving story. This also meant that his priorities were different. We’ve seen a lot of touching work, ranch hands dealing with new issues, and a deeper separation between even the closest characters than we’ve seen before. It definitely ties some of these elements together, and with the running season extending longer than ever, we’re confident it will be worth the wait.
the second half of yellowstone‘s epic fifth season begins airing this summer. With lives in jeopardy, a possible impeachment trial, and the image of an incinerator being introduced yet to be forgotten, there’s a lot more enthusiasm and drama to come.
