With Rishabh Pant currently out of action following last week’s horrific car accident, Rahul Dravid and members of the Indian cricket team hoped the wicket-keeper batsman would make a speedy recovery ahead of the T20I series against Sri Lanka. Team India are due to start three T20Is in 2023 on Tuesday and will be without senior players such as Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in the squad. Pant is currently undergoing treatment and recovery at Max’s Hospital in Dehradun. He suffered multiple cuts and bruises on his body. The 25-year-old also suffered a torn ligament in his right knee.
