Şanlıurfa students put their photos in frames made from ice cream sticks and sent them to First Lady Emine Erdogan, along with a lovely letter he wrote.
Erdogan was overjoyed by the gift, which was made with the Zero Waste project concept, and expressed his joy by sharing a letter on his social media accounts.
Atahan Uyaroğlu, 8, a third-year student at a private university in Şanlıurfa, supported a zero-waste project initiated by Emine Erdoğan, wife of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. A little student who made a frame out of collected ice cream sticks wrote a letter and sent it to Erdogan. Atahan writes: A picture frame with his mother I want to kiss both hands and give this picture frame to you.”
While sharing this lovely letter, the First Lady replied: She congratulates her wholeheartedly on being an example to her friends. ”
Launched in 2017 by the Ministry of Environment, Urban Planning and Climate Change under the patronage of First Lady Emine Erdogan, the Zero Waste Project has led Turkiye’s fight against climate change. The initiative primarily aims to bring the country in line with sustainable development principles, prevent unmanaged waste and leave a “cleaner and more advanced” country for future generations. .
