Central, Hong Kong – Maple Tree Counselling, a counseling and therapy practice in Hong Kong, is pleased to announce its expansion in Hong Kong with the addition of additional therapists. Between a large integrative medicine clinic and a small single-therapist private practice, our boutique practice is made up of a team of Hong Kong-certified professional therapists serving adults and adolescents.

Tryde offers cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based psychotherapy, and emotion-focused therapy (EFT). McGrath offers CBT, Schema and Narrative Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Westcott offers CBT, psychodynamic therapy, and ACT. Mok offers CBT, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), role-playing game therapy, and ACT.
In addition to the above, counselors Nicola Shannon and Lianne Lim have also joined the growing Maple Tree Counseling team. Nicola Shannon specializes in therapeutic modalities such as CBT, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and the Internal Family System (IFS). Lianne Lim specializes in Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing, Person Her Centered Her Therapy, and Behavioral Therapy.
Shannon serves both teenagers and adults who struggle with uncertainty, disconnection, and lack of purpose. By using an integrative framework to address past traumas and current challenges, Shannon identifies what is holding back her client’s growth. She is formerly an early childhood educator and works with individual clients to understand how their unique role is in successes and challenges within the family structure. She works as a recovery facilitator and is a professional member of the British Psychological Association and the Australian Counseling Association. Her areas of focus are teenage drug use prevention, drug use, codependency, addictive behavior, impostor syndrome, burnout, and early childhood behavior.
Lim works with clients from a wide range of backgrounds to help them develop insights and strategies for dealing with interpersonal and interpersonal issues. She provides couples counseling and helps couples manage conflicts arising from separation, parenting, and life events. Originally from Taiwan, Lim has lived, studied and worked in several countries. Before she joined Maple Tree Counselling, she provided her counseling services to her NGOs and schools in Hong Kong. She can provide counseling in both English and Mandarin and is a professional member of the Hong Kong Professional Counseling Association and the Asian Professional Counseling & Psychology Association. Her areas of focus include relationship and family dynamics, women’s mental health, life transition/adjustment management, child loss, fertility issues, pregnancy, marital conflict, separation or joint It’s upbringing.
As previously announced, Maple Tree Counseling was established in Hong Kong from a shared vision of many colleagues and friends who wanted to meet the growing demand for mental health services and a true commitment to helping people. it was done.
