Skrillex is full steam ahead for 2023, but he’s had to endure the “hardest year” of his life to get here.
Skrillex, who just turned 35, took to Twitter to open up about his recent struggles with mental health, finally finding a new sense of peace.
The summer of 2022 seemed to see the barnstorming return of the “Rumble” producer, who was revealed as part of the lineup for the Detroit movement and Tampa’s Sunset Music Festival. “For the first time in four or five years, I have found a new sense of peace,” he added. “It has taken a lot of hard work and sacrifice to get here.”
Skrillex will be swinging in 2023, releasing two big hit singles, “Rumble” and “Way Back.” They are believed to be just the tip of the iceberg for the release of their long-awaited double album, which he confirmed will be released this year.
