On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Brain Research Center (CBR) on the premises of the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). Prime Minister Abe also participated in the stone-laying ceremony of Bagchi Parthasarathy Hospital.
CBR was created at a cost of Rs 280 crore to conduct key research in rural Karnataka to provide appropriate, evidence-based public health interventions to slow the onset of dementia and slow its progression To do.
The 832-bed non-profit Bagchi-Parthasarathy hospital will be built at a cost of Rs 425 crore. This brings science, engineering and medicine together on his one campus, making the most of his 100 years of excellence in his IISc in science and engineering.
It was attended by Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot, Prime Minister Basavaraj Bommai and Minister for Coal, Mining and Parliamentary Affairs Pralhad Joshi. Donors of Bagchi-Parthasarathy Hospital, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Gopalakrishnan, Bagchi and his Parthasarathy’s family were also present.
Earlier, on the way to IISc, PM Modi stopped his car and waved to thousands of members of the Mekhri Circle. The crowd chanted slogans and were overjoyed when the Prime Minister waved out.
