The Center for Brain Research (CBR), a self-governing center of the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, is inviting applications from qualified and aspiring Indian citizens seeking mid-year entry into a full-time Ph.D. I’m here. CBR advances interdisciplinary research to understand normal and pathological aging of the brain through advanced genetic, biochemical, computational genomics, neuroimaging, neurophysiology, neurocognition, and related approaches. I’m here.
CBR is recognized as a research center for doctoral degrees. Program by Manipal Higher Education Academy (MAHE), Karnataka. A PhD degree is awarded by her MAHE.
Eligibility: The applicant shallA master’s degree in any field of science or a four-year bachelor’s degree in any field of medicine/engineering/technology/pharmacy/veterinary medicine. Students in the final year of each course are also eligible to apply if they complete the course by the age of 31st January 2023.
Preference will be given to those who have completed national-level fellowship tests such as CSIR-UGC NET for JRF/ UGC NET for JRF/ DBT-JRF/ ICMR-JRF/ INSPIRE and GATE Fellowship (Ph.D.).
Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. Selection will be based on academic performance and interview results.
Finalists will be announced on Thursday, December 15, 2022 (tentative). An online interview will be held for him in early January 2023.Program is scheduled to start on Wednesday, February 1, 2023
