New medical partnership expands brain and spine care services in Wabash Valley. WTWO-TV partners Union Health of Terre Haute and Carmel-based Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine Physicians have joined forces to provide neurosurgical services to a broader patient group.
Union Health General Surgeon and Chief Medical Officer Rebecca Lynch says the partnership will take brain and spine care to the next level.
“We want it to be very inclusive. We want it to be seamless,” Lynch said. “There will be patients who will need to be transported for treatment, but I hope that the number of patients who need transport will become less and less over time. This will go a really long way to give that to patients. A very high level of neurosurgical care at home here.”
Partnerships and corresponding care programs will be available soon, Lynch said.
Goodman Campbell also has offices in Avon, Carmel, Fishers, Greenwood, Indianapolis, Mooresville and Wisconsin.
In November, the company worked with Ascension St. Vincent officials to build a new $325 million brain and spine hospital at Indianapolis Hospital.
