For many people, worry is accompanied by anxiety. It’s normal to feel anxious during stressful times. Anxiety becomes a problem when your fear interferes with your desires, motivations, and actions.
Before managing anxiety, it is important to know how it affects you. Some people feel fear when they are anxious. they are scared Some people have a rapid heart rate, and their breathing becomes faster and louder. Others cannot focus on anything, but are a source of anxiety.
Once you’ve identified the physiological signs of anxiety, you can do box breaths, which are deep breaths on a count of four. Then hold your breath for a count of 4. Then exhale through your mouth for a count of four. Finally, hold your breath for a count of 4. and repeat as necessary.
Once you’ve identified the source of your anxiety, create a short-term plan with some action steps. This will give you momentum and success. This is important. This is because we abandon long draw plans that do not yield immediate wins or profits. And then the cycle of anxiety repeats itself.
Remember to give yourself grace if you have to give up on your plans and start over a few times. Avoiding sources of anxiety is natural. It’s about finding effective coping strategies that help ease anxiety.
