
People between the ages of 13 and 23, called transitional adolescents, are often the first to discover serious mental disorders. Research shows that early treatment significantly reduces hospitalization and increases participation in school and employment. Many resources are now available to the community, including the Power Center and Alaska Seeds of Change. Dr. Justin Clark explores these resources and mental health in this episode of Line One.
