JJ Watt couldn’t help but get emotional at the touching tribute the Arizona Cardinals gave him before retiring.
On Tuesday, the Cardinals showed how they surprised Watts before playing the final game of their 2022 season. In what appears to be a team meeting or movie session, Watt can be seen getting emotional and teary-eyed when the farewell video is played. and several other NFL personalities, as well as his brother and parents.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady even called Watt a good “pain in the butt” and praised his work in making him one of the best defensive players in the history of the game.

After the video went viral, JJ Watt confirmed that: show his appreciation Thanks again to the team for one of the “greatest gifts” he’s gotten.
“I was completely unprepared for that. One of the best gifts I have ever received. I will cherish it forever,” Watt wrote on Twitter.
Watt certainly deserves all the recognition he’s gotten. He’s never won a Super Bowl in his career, but there’s no denying that what he’s accomplished is nothing short of legendary. As Brady said, Watt made life difficult for him and several other great quarterbacks over the past decade. This is an achievement that fans will remember whenever they talk about his career and what he’s done for the game.
