Jessie J has reflected on her previous miscarriage and thanks her fans for their support after announcing her pregnancy.
The 34-year-old Bang Bang hitmaker announced in a heartwarming Instagram post on Friday that she’s expecting a child.
Jessie, who is believed to have an affair with basketball player Chanan Saphir Coleman, has shared a slew of glowing images, starting with scans of her growing baby after a positive pregnancy test came out. .
She had previously suffered a devastating miscarriage, and now says her past tragedy was part of the reason she kept her current pregnancy a secret for so long.
Taking to social media again on Saturday, Jessie began by thanking everyone for the messages of joy and support she’s received.
Jessie explained that it was 2am when she was there and she couldn’t sleep “thinking about the overwhelming amount of love and support I’m feeling today.”
She admitted she could help, but consider that all women and men still struggle with loss and infertility.
“After being told you’ll never get pregnant, having a miscarriage, then getting pregnant and being told how fast it’s progressing, it feels so weird to be on this side.
Jesse admitted that her mind “hasn’t fully processed what’s really going on” and explained that that’s why she’s been “quiet for so long.”
“The initial apprehension was overwhelmed and I felt like I was closing my eyes hoping that everything would continue to go well, feeling the joy and blessing of this experience.”
The mother-to-be said she didn’t even know “what my point was,” but said, “I’m still with you and I haven’t forgotten about it. .
“I don’t take this for granted and I pray every day for a safe landing for this magical baby.”
She concluded: But it looks.
The Pricetag hitmaker announced her baby news in a sweet video montage while admitting she was “so happy and terrified to finally share this.”
Jessie shared a sombre tribute with her fans on Instagram shortly after marking a year after her tragic miscarriage.
she wrote:
“I can now talk without crying, but I am still discovering all the positive things the experience has given me.
“Strength, wisdom, empathy, gratitude.
“It still hurts. I spent all day thinking about all the women, men, families who have been through this over and over and how incredibly strong they are.”
She signed off by speaking directly to her “angel baby,” saying, “I feel you everywhere, especially today.
