Hyderabad: The International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) and the Asia-Pacific Regional Commission (APRC), in collaboration with the Indian Society for Neurochemistry (SNCI), at the Faculty of Life Sciences on “Understanding the Pathophysiology of Pain and Cognition Using Animal Experiments” We hold international workshops. , University of Hyderabad, December 12-16.
The event will be kicked off by Prof. BJ Rao, Vice Chancellor of UoH. Dr. Subhash Kaul, a senior his consultant neurologist at the Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), will also participate in the program. Dr. Manas K Panigrahi, Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon and Director of KIMS Neurosurgery will give the inaugural lecture.
The five-day event will include lectures and hands-on laboratory demonstrations by experts in the field of pain and cognitive research from the Asia-Pacific region. Group discussions, poster presentations by participants, technical lectures and equipment demonstrations will be held.
This workshop will focus on behavioral, molecular and electrophysiological studies of pain and cognition in animal models. About 30 people selected from India, Malaysia, Taiwan, Nepal and Iran are participating in the workshop. Over 30 highly respected faculty/speakers in the field of pain and cognition from India and Asia Pacific will be part of this school.
