The three inseparable cats, dubbed Mango, Snickers, and Kiwi, melted hearts across the internet after a video of them cuddling together went viral.
A video shared on TikTok in January by the cat’s owner, under the username Mungos Snickerskiwi, shows three adopted cats cuddling up against a cat tree, napping comfortably next to each other. I’m here.
The heartwarming clip is captioned, “Do you really want it? Bonding with your brother who has separation anxiety and you like watching him sleep.” Followed by: “Who wouldn’t want that?”
Common signs of separation anxiety in cats include excessive meowing, crying, or moaning, according to the Metropolitan Veterinary Center Chicago. Eating too quickly or not eating at all. excessive self-grooming; defecation outside the toilet; Disruptive behavior; unusual pounding on the way home. Vomiting food or hairballs; and trying to escape.
To soothe a cat with separation anxiety, you can keep the radio or TV on a station that is frequently on when you are there. Keep arrivals and departures discreet. Create a shelter, a safe place for your cat. We provide plenty of toys and puzzles for playtime while you are gone. And channel the prey instinct by hiding food in the toy and making the prey work.
The veterinarian’s website suggests starting with short rests at first while providing a perch or “katio” so your cat can see her favorite sights. He also suggests buying a pheromone diffuser and offering plenty of cuddles and playtime when you get home.
