Today it is good.
Eternal Sleep release full-length debut track The Emptyness of… Dating back to 2016. Since then, we haven’t gotten much new music from the band. Heaven’s Cruelty In 2020. ) last year, on New Year’s Eve, Eternal Sleep returned with her two-track single “There Above” b/w “Against A Wall.” They also promised a new album in 2022, which they barely delivered.
Eternal Sleep’s second album Desperate Prayer Blues, released today is an ambitious and bloody heavy hardcore production. The band recorded the album with Cold World/War Hungry/Eternal Champion/Sumerlands guitarist Arthur Rizk, who has produced bands such as Power Trip, Pissed Jeans and Show Me The Body. Produced, engineered, mixed and mastered by Rizk Desperate Prayer Blues, and the album has a bottom-heavy hard-rock slant that he knows how to capture. The record has a ton of riff-metal grooves, whose clean singing moments recall grunge his bands like Alice in Chains. But the album still works as tough, unforgiving fight music. If you’re into SpritWorld’s Death Western, you are likely to get hooked on this too. Stream it below.
