Australian actress Toni Collette shared some important life advice on Instagram, and she’s overflowing with love from her fans.
The 50-year-old star of Muriel’s wedding recently announced that she was divorcing her husband, Dave Galafasi, after photos surfaced of him passionately kissing another woman on a Sydney beach.

However, despite the grief of the divorce, Colette seems to have decided to stay positive.
On Thursday, she shared a lengthy message about looking on the bright side of life.
The message begins, “This is your life. Do what you love often.”
“If you don’t like something, change it.
“If you don’t like your job, quit.
“If you’re looking for the love of your life, stop. They’ll be waiting for you when you start doing what you love.”
The message also encourages people to spend less time looking at screens, stop overanalyzing things, follow their passions, enjoy food, travel often and be open to new experiences.
Some opportunities come only once. Grab them,” the message reads.
“Life is the people you meet and what you create with them.
“Then go out and start creating.”
The message also says: Ask the next person you meet what their passion is and share your inspiring dreams with them. ”
Colette’s fans echoed the message.
“Words for living,” wrote one fan.
“Absolutely. I don’t know what’s around the corner. We’ll go full speed to it and laugh the whole time! I wrote another one.”
“There is something I wish I could have told my younger self,” said a third.

Others simply said, “Thank you,” while one fan wrote, “I got this Toni.”
Colette announced her divorce in late 2022 via an Instagram message.
“It is with great grace and gratitude that we announce that we are divorcing,” she wrote.
“We respect each other, make a caring decision and part ways.
“Our children are the most important thing to us, and we will continue to thrive as a family, albeit in different forms.
“We are grateful for the space and love you give us as we evolve and peacefully move through this transitional period.”

Colette and drummer Galafassi married in 2003 in a Buddhist ceremony.
They have two children, Sage Florence Garafasi and Arlo Robert Garafasi.
At the time of the announcement, Entertainment Reporter Peter Ford interviewed The Morning Show to provide more details about the shock split.
“Here’s the backstory. Yesterday, the Daily Mail got hold of a paparazzi photo of David passionately kissing a young woman, a mystery woman, on Manly Beach.
“When they went to Toni Collette’s management and said, ‘I have these pictures, can you give me a reply,’ there was no reply.
“However, hours later, Toni posted a very well-articulated statement on her Instagram about love and respect and, first and foremost, care and concern for children. This is a joint statement. .
“We wish them both well.”
