Lawyer for Dani Alves accuser says footballer wasn’t wearing a condom He allegedly raped a client in a Barcelona nightclub and forced a 23-year-old woman to be treated for a potential sexually transmitted disease.
Ester García López added to Brazilian media outlet UOL: The woman has not been able to sleep since she filed a police report against Alves.has been detained without possibility of bail.
“She said to me [sleep]”
“She is receiving psychological support through a national agency that specializes in treating victims of violence,” Garcia Lopez said. “The hospital prescribed a course of treatment aimed at avoiding infections of all kinds.because I was not using a condom.
“She is also on medication in the form of anti-anxiety medications to help her sleep. she told me she couldn’t ever since [making] her statement [to law enforcement]”

The lawyer added that her client’s case benefited from the fact that she was immediately taken to the Central Sexual Assault Unit (UCAS) of the Catalan Police. She left the disco in an ambulance and went straight to UCAS‘” Garcia Lopez told UOL.
“Unlike many victims of sexual assault who wash their underwear out of disgust, she didn’t have time to think about it. She was immediately taken care of while the evidence remained there“
Garcia Lopez added of her client:made a succinct, non-contradictory statement, which is rare”. “Many women suffer from post-traumatic stress and forget the details. She remembered everything from beginning to end.”
