according to crafted bedAccording to expert Brian Dillon, there are three things to consider before buying these types of beds.
1. Do you have back or knee problems?
As with any low platform bed frame, you should consider whether you are already suffering from back or knee pain. Recommended.
When getting into bed, you should use your knees to support your weight and lower your body to the level of the bed. This can cause pain and injury to those who have previously had knee problems. Similarly, cloud beds do not provide much back support.

2. Do you move a lot when you sleep?
If you move around while you sleep, this may not be the best bed for you. More affordable versions of cloud beds often come in separate parts, with the frame and headboard not connected, so a lot of movement at night can separate the two.
If you’re a really restless sleeper, you might wake up to find yourself on a different side of the room than the headboard!
3. Can you afford to invest if the trend changes?

We know that TikTok trends don’t often last longer than a few months, but a bed is an expensive expense that lasts for years.
With even a hint of worry that I might need a different bed if trends suddenly change, I would avoid this expensive investment and opt for a more practical, less trend-driven bed frame.
This is something fans of the “cloud bed” trend should consider carefully during a cost-of-living crisis.
