Neurology PGIMER, in collaboration with Indian Brain Bee, International Brain Bee and Society for Neuroscience (SFN), held the 14th Regional Brain Bee on Saturday.
India’s Brain Bee Quiz is a class 11 live neuroscience question and answer contest. It encourages young men and women from all over the world to participate in the ‘Best Brains’, which deals with neuroscience topics such as intelligence, memory, stress, emotions, sleep, and various neurological disorders.
This year, 20 students from 10 Tri-City schools were enrolled in a competition coordinated by PGIMER’s Department of Neurology, Professor Dheeraj Khurana. Twelve students were selected through a written selection round for the final oral round of the quiz. The event was reviewed by Prof. Parampreet Singh Kharbanda (Department of Neurology, PGIMER), Dr. Manjul Tripathi (Department of Neurology, PGIMER) and Dr. Sucharita Ray (Department of Neurology, PGIMER).
Ishita of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula was the Brain Bee Champion, followed closely by Arnav Agarwal (1st) of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh and Amisha Kapoor (2nd) of Sacred Heart High School, Chandigarh. rice field.
The top 2 contestants at the regional level shall participate in the National Brain Bee in New Delhi in April. The national winner will represent India at the International Brain Bee in August this year.
