Lansing, Michigan (WILX) – The Capital Area District Library (CADL) partnered with the Lansing Chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace to host a drive in February.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace is an organization that helps provide beds for children in need. CADL announced on Monday that it will partner with the nonprofit to host the drive from Feb. 6 to Feb. 28 – suitable for boys and girls ages 3 to her 17. Bag set. All 13 CADL chapters are accepting donations and can be donated by placing items in special Sleep in Heavenly Peace collection boxes.
CADL Executive Director Scott Duimstra said he is grateful to partner with the organization.
βAll children have the right to a safe and comfortable place to sleep, so we encourage communities to come together and donate bedding to those in need,β Daimstra said. .
