The company will initially introduce two consumer health cartridges for the device, which will help monitor metabolism and menstrual cycles. A miniaturized health lab that will change the way you monitor your health.” U-Scan says he will reach the EU during the second quarter with a price tag of €499.95 (about $532). The TikTok-famous WalkingPad X21 features an innovative bi-fold design that reduces the length to just 8.9 inches (from 55.9 inches) for easy storage out of sight. Connect with a companion app that tracks your workouts and lets you control your speed. King Smith Fitness is also challenging Tonal with a compact strength-training machine called the Gym Box. Like the Tonal, it has electromagnetic resistance technology that tracks your weight with every move, adding more weight as you get stronger. We previously tested a similar product called the Vitruvian V-Form Trainer, but were unimpressed due to the jerky resistance adjustment. The Gymbox felt pretty smooth after just a brief use at CES, so I have high hopes for this machine.

You may not recognize Valencell by name, but their optical heart rate technology is used in millions of third-party wearable devices. Powered by a photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor and artificial intelligence trained on more than 7,000 patients, the cuffless, calibration-free device uses a “little probe on his middle finger” to measure his blood pressure in less than a minute. Our favorite smart ring, Oura, will soon have a new competitor. Movano Health’s female-focused Evie promises to help her track her period, ovulation, menstrual symptoms, and her mood. She also measures other health and fitness metrics such as resting heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen saturation, breathing rate, skin temperature variability, steps taken, active minutes, calories burned, and sleep. It also tracks metrics for Evie is set to go on sale later this year when she’s under $300. It’s made from polished aluminum and is available in three finishes. We tested it at CES and found it very comfortable. The inner sensor isn’t too bulky and has an open design, so it can take some strain when your finger swells.

Road cyclists who want to train indoors during winter may be interested in the TrueKinetix TrueBike. Instead of a traditional flywheel, this smart exercise bike combines a “powerful electric motor with a smart robotic solution” to continuously measure how hard you push down on the petals and automatically adjust the resistance to help you stay outdoors. It faithfully reproduces the feeling of riding. According to TrueKinetix, the TrueBike offers both cardio and strength training for more efficient indoor training than the competition. The company is working to secure a U.S. distributor, but this product could cause sticker shock: At $3,795, it’s pricier than Peloton.

When I demoed the Zone at CES, the purified air felt cool on my face.Others may disagree, but I think it’s a Bane-like aesthetic(opens in new window) Cool. Even if you’re not a fan of the design, I have to admit – it’s awkward. Prices start at $949.
