Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills put themselves and their fans on an emotional rollercoaster in Sunday’s AFC Wildcard Round matchup at home to the Miami Dolphins. But at the end of the day, the Bills breathed a big sigh of relief and Buffalo survived a Dolphins team that didn’t even have Tua Tagovailoa under center.
The Bills won 34-31, but the Bills’ Twitter went wild following the nerve-wracking experience.
Twitter user @BillsBabe716d shared hilarious fantasy commercial Sometime in the future highlighting the potpourri of emotion the Bills gave fans during their match with the Dolphins.
Commercial 30 years from now: “Did the Buffalo Bills break your heart and cost you years of your life by making the playoff game too close? not.”

The Bills looked set to take on Miami early on as they were leading 14–0 by the end of the first quarter. Dawson Knox broke the scoreless tie with a touchdown catch just under eight minutes left in the opening period, and James Cook followed a few minutes later with a 12-yard touchdown run. But the Dolphins, quarterbacked by rookie third stringer Skyler Thompson, beat the Bills 17-6 in the second quarter, cutting the first-half deficit to three he had. The second half proved to be a volatile adventure even on both ends of the Bills’ field, but at least they came out victorious when it was all over.
Buffalo will have a week to clean up mistakes and smooth out wrinkles in their game plan when they play in next weekend’s AFC Divisional Round.
