Auburn’s East Hill Medical Center will launch an anxiety support group starting Wednesday, January 25th.
Led by behavioral providers and therapists, this group offers participants ways to proactively manage and alleviate stress and anxiety.
“By dealing with stressors and overwhelmed emotions, participants may learn to release anxiety and stop distracting or negative thoughts,” says Katrina, director of behavioral health at Easthill. “Our anxiety-focused group was designed after many requests from the community,” Garrigan said in a news release.
The group will meet for one hour starting at 1:00 PM and will continue to meet at the same time on Wednesdays after January 25th. The meeting will be held at 144 Genesee Street East Hill, Auburn.
