Where is your favorite corner of the internet?
My favorite corner of the internet is the “Pranks” section of TikTok. It’s not about people encroaching on your personal space or bringing people closer to having a heart attack, but about things you do stupid things at home to get your spouse’s natural reaction. and act like you know them, the stranger will feel bad that they forgot how they met and go along with it. It literally brings me to tears.
What is the Internet deep dive you’re dying to dive into?
The most tremendously satisfying deep dive is watching an ingrown toenail removal video. Dr. Toenail and The Meticulous Manicurist are two of my favorite him. The end result is so rewarding that I can sit and watch it for hours. Unfortunately there are no claws. Dangit.
What tab do you always regret closing?
I always regret closing recipe videos. I find an incredible recipe and put down my phone, lose the recipe and can’t sleep because I can’t stop thinking about it. Now I just DM myself a bunch of recipes.My DMs are basically cookbooks and I’m practically a professional chef now.
What is something you can’t stop talking about online right now?
Tech! I love technology and attended tech shows with my tech fiancée. I host #AskFirefox where I answer questions and provide resources on how to navigate the amazing world of technology. Pretty groovy if I say so myself!
When you want to catch up on reality tea, ‘The Real Housewives’ is everything. The previous season of ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ patched up the drama. I follow a lot of Bravo accounts, so I’m always on the lookout for drama from shows I’ve never seen.
Where was your first online community involved?
Perhaps MySpace is a long time ago. Oh, what a time we live in!
what are your articles and videos pocket What are you waiting to read/watch now?
Definitely lots of recipes, especially brunch recipes. My family and I have brunch every Christmas, so I start looking for recipes months in advance. Game and gift ideas for my nieces. Abs and booty workout.
If you could have your own Internet corner, what would it look like?
A rare sighting of Mary-Kate and Ashley. As their biggest fans, they’re such private people that it’s pretty hard to keep up with what they’re doing. I can. It also gives you a life lesson (2 for 1!). It took the world by storm before TikTok and was blessed with incredible fashion at the same time.Another winner, Chicken Dinner!
