John Carney, who has worked on such hit movies as ‘Once’ and ‘Sing Street’, hopes his latest film ‘Flora and Son’ will replicate the success of its predecessor.
Like both of these films, “Flora and Her Son” debuted at the Sundance Film Festival on Sunday night and has already garnered positive reviews. please the crowds.”
“Flora and Her Son” stars Eve Hewson as the young mother of a teenage son (played by Oren Kinlan) who is estranged from his father (Jack Reynor) but is connected to a musician (Joseph Gordon-Levitt).
As you might guess from the name, Oren is the son of actor Lawrence Kinlan (aka Elmo from Love/Hate), who proudly tweeted while sharing footage from the premiere.
He wasn’t the only proud parent in attendance—Ali Hewson was also there to support Eve.
The film is currently seeking a distributor, but there is no doubt that audiences will have the opportunity to see it in cinemas in the near future.
