A family in Queensland struggles to come to terms with the death of a young man who “didn’t wake up”.
Rickson Williams died last month at his home near Bundaberg, just before his 22nd birthday.
His mother, Tanya Wright, told the Townsville Bulletin that the death of her “healthy and energetic” son was a “huge shock.”

She said he had an “enlarged heart”, although the cause of death was not specified.
“We think it’s related,” she told the publication.
On a GoFundMe page set up to pay for his funeral on Friday, Wright described Williams as “a life of parties without parties.”
“Rickson’s life was tragically cut short when he failed to wake from his sleep,” she wrote.
“He was a passionate gardener, motorcycle rider, music maker and many other hobbies.
“He has come a tremendous way from the difficulties he faced just a few years ago.”
She said the donation “will help give him the farewell he deserves and time to mourn the unexpected loss of his beloved son and brother without the added stress of financial burden.”
Over $2000 was raised.
