    Daphne Clarence: The skeleton of skin care consists of small daily habits. Most of us like to wet our skin with various products that claim to cater to our ailments, but what we do can have a huge impact on our skin. It is easy to forget

    One of the most obscure habits that cause acne is sleep. During the night, our skin heals, repairs and absorbs all the goodness of the products we use, according to Arthi Raguram, the founder of Deyga Organics, skin and hair expert.

    “But to maximize these effects, you need to make sure you’re sleeping the right way to prevent acne. A few silly mistakes while sleeping can cause acne and ruin your skin’s condition.” You may be surprised to learn that you have the potential to do so,” he told India Today.

    How to use a dirty pillowcase

    As many people don’t know, our pillowcases are a breeding ground for bacteria and all kinds of dirt and grime. All of these dirty particles transfer to your skin when you sleep on these messy pillowcases. Change your pillowcase every week. We recommend using satin pillowcases to avoid chafing your skin.

    don’t use makeup remover

    You may be very tired, but you should remove all your makeup before going to bed. Wearing makeup all night clogs your pores and causes pimples. What’s more, sleeping with makeup on can be detrimental to your skin’s health in the long run. Double cleansing is recommended for those who usually wear heavy makeup.

    leave oil on hair

    If you sleep with an oily scalp, you are more likely to get pimples when you wake up in the morning. People with oily skin should avoid using hair oil overnight to keep acne at bay. If you nourish your hair with hair oil, leave it on for 2-3 hours and then wash it off with a mild shampoo.

    use unwashed towels

    Even if you use cleanser and makeup remover to remove stickiness from your face, using a dirty towel can still cause acne. , use a new washcloth to wipe your face, as it can cause blackheads, whiteheads, and acne. Also, be very gentle when rubbing your face with the towel, as the friction can trigger existing pimples.

    Sleep patterns are important in preventing acne. If you sleep on your stomach, your face will come into direct contact with dirty pillowcases and sheets. Sleeping all night like this can be harmful to your skin due to the constant friction between your skin and the fabric.
