Erin offered birth to another baby woman named Hannah when Abby turned 2. When again, Baileys caring impulses started. Simply like with Abby, the cat became Hannahs babysitter and protector.
As Abby grew, Bailey became her protective brother and supervised her every step of the way.
Eventually, the trio became the finest of pals. But there was no denying that the bond between Bailey and Abby was extraordinary. She would still read him stories all the time, and the cat would simply curl up in her arms and watch her read. She would also sing to him and play with him all the time.
The cat is no longer here, the Merryn household continues to run Baileys social media pages, sharing heartwarming memories of him to make other people delighted. Erin also launched a book about the cherished cat.

She told Love Meow that it was love at very first sight when Bailey first saw Abby. The little girl chose up a book one day and decided to read it out loud with Bailey by her side. There was no rejecting that the bond in between Bailey and Abby was extraordinary. In August 2018, that video went viral and had Bailey getting brand-new followers on social media.

Quick forward to over a decade later, Erin began her own family and had her very first kid, Abby. At first, she wasnt sure how Bailey would react to the new addition to their household.

Having owned an orange tabby cat called Bailey because college, Erin Merryn understands this all too well. When she fulfilled the ginger kitty 15 years ago, the small feline jumped into her arms and declined to let her go.
It was “among the worst days” of Erins life. But the most dreadful part of all of it was telling Abby that she needed to say bye-bye to Bailey.
“So sorry for your loss … this is a difficult one however your family pet wants you with them for their last hours on earth … and you did that so your animal mores than happy,” said one Facebook remark.
The little woman got a book one day and decided to read it out loud with Bailey by her side. Meanwhile, the cat just stayed there and worked as her audience. This activity became the duos common bonding.
In August 2018, that footage went viral and had Bailey gaining brand-new fans on social networks. Unfortunately, the world didnt be familiar with the feline for long. On December 8, 2018, the 14-year-old cat died from kidney failure.
Even during his last hours on earth, Baileys family ensured that he leaves understanding how deeply enjoyed he is. Whichs the type of love that every family pet is worthy of.
InstagramAs a homage to the felines unique bond with her ladies, Erin shared a video of her two children serenading him with “You Are My Sunshine”– the song Abby had been singing to Bailey because she discovered to talk– for one last time.
Erin believes Bailey was no common cat.
