The high school opened the shop in November to help low-income students and their households put food on their tables and purchase other needs. Given that the store doesnt take financial payments, trainees in the entire school district purchase essential products through a points system.
The store will also hold food drives weekly for the community and help other food insecurity projects in the location. On December 15, it will be open to the entire Sanger district.
