Mom stunned with neighborhood kids’ response to the ‘No Candy’ sign she posted on her yard

I searched our doorbell camera tonight and saw that kids had actually been stopping at the indication. T.j. Thomas and I simply went outdoors and found this.

The SOLE purpose of us putting this sign “Sorry, no candy. Kid with cancer. See you next year. Have a good time!” in our yard today was so kids wouldnt go to our door and be disappointed (our community typically gets 300-400 kids).

Thanks To Courtney ThomasI cant stop weeping. , if anybody believed there was no hope in our kids and teens youre wrong.

The photo does not do it justice, its a LOT and the good things even.

Upgraded: WOW at the shares and reactions ❤ Thank you to everybody for your kind words and prayers! We serve a magnificent and devoted God and we hold tight to the pledge of Romans 8:28, “And we understand that for those who like God all things collaborate for great, for those who are called according to his function.”

Thanks To Courtney ThomasSeriously … If the parents of anyone who did this sees this, PLEASE tell them just how much it suggests to us and our kiddos. On the best sweet night of the year kids freely and generously shared with complete strangers and showed a lot love and compassion. So incredible!

I have to say that Halloween was so much various for my kids as compared to last year. Our child celebrated Halloween in the oncology center last year and the kids didnt really get to do much considering that their sis couldnt go out. This year she did get to go for a short time and had a blast.

” Kudos to the thoughtful, kind, mild and compassionate kids who shared their candy, however most of ALL congratulations to the moms and dads of those children for teaching them what truly essential in life. Sharing, caring, and love for one another.

” Awe your post has me in tears today. From a fellow cancer mama I comprehend how much this indicates. Prayers for your family and for a total recovery for your cancer hero!”– Jeniffer Denney
