In the episode, cast members mourned the loss of Little Bit, Michael, and Amy’s beloved dog of 22 years. Michael adopted her almost 15-16 years before her after the death of her father, and Amy lived with her for the last five years of her life. The couple’s home was filled with custom pieces featuring pictures of Little Bit. These included a pillow, two portraits, and a blanket.
Michael wants to do a closing ceremony/memorial for Little Bit, and has also installed a headstone that says “Little Bit will always be in his heart”. Amy called Little Bit her daughter and Michael praised him for always supporting his pet. The two also reminisced about happy times with their “daughter,” and how she attended during her wedding and baby shower.
