1000 Pound Sisters fans get emotional as Amy and Michael hold pet dog memorial service

1000 Pound Sisters season 4 episode 3, title I Don’t To Tacos Bout Itaired this Tuesday, January 31 at 9 PM ET on TLC.

In the episode, cast members mourned the loss of Little Bit, Michael, and Amy’s beloved dog of 22 years. Michael adopted her almost 15-16 years before her after the death of her father, and Amy lived with her for the last five years of her life. The couple’s home was filled with custom pieces featuring pictures of Little Bit. These included a pillow, two portraits, and a blanket.

Michael wants to do a closing ceremony/memorial for Little Bit, and has also installed a headstone that says “Little Bit will always be in his heart”. Amy called Little Bit her daughter and Michael praised him for always supporting his pet. The two also reminisced about happy times with their “daughter,” and how she attended during her wedding and baby shower.

1000 Pound Sisters Fans pay tribute to Little Bit

For the memorial service, Amy and Michael invited all their family and friends.

The guest had a hard time saying good things about the dog because he wasn’t near it, but he complimented Little Bit for not barking.

Amy and Michael wanted their children to grow up with animals, but didn’t want to adopt a puppy anytime soon.

Amy’s sister Tammy was unable to attend the funeral, but attended the ceremony via video call.

Amy was worried Tammy would use Little Bit’s death as an excuse to give up dieting

Tammy, who is currently in rehab to lose weight, said her heart “stopped” upon hearing the news of Little Bit’s death. and feared her death would force Tammy to give up on her diet journey.
