There have been moments and years in my life when I unknowingly struggled with depression and anxiety.
If you break a part of your body, everyone will come to your aid, but if you say you’re depressed, everyone will run away. That’s what we fear.
But that negative stigma doesn’t help anyone. I love helping people, so I would like to share some tips for overcoming depression, sadness, and anxiety.
Humans should strive to become more confident, mentally stable, and positive. Mental health is one of the most underrated issues today and we firmly believe that everyone needs to take care of it more than anything else.
When you’re ready to conquer depression and anxiety, here are 10 things to do.
1. Create a journal or keep a personal diary.
Society teaches us that expressing a sense of vulnerability is a sign of weakness. Expressing vulnerability shows signs of strength.
If you are not happy with your life, you must be doing something wrong. error. No one wakes up every day like a bundle of sunshine.
Writing is the therapy I give myself every day. It’s not easy to open up and talk about how you feel. People are incredibly judgmental. If you want to improve your mental health, take 15 minutes of your day to write it down.
Write in any format, whether stream of consciousness or short words. Write down moments of sadness, anxiety and happiness. Write down 5 things you like about yourself, 5 things you would like to improve, and what you would do to change your life.
2. Understand that you are never alone.
All humans experience something, whether they are conscious of it or not. We all have fears and problems. Remember, you are never alone.
I’m pretty sure at least 10 of your problems are fictional scenarios you created for no logical reason. Learn to control your thoughts and don’t let them control you.
Life is hard. Self-doubt eats into your soul. But it never will if you don’t learn to enjoy life when you have problems. Because I promise you that you will always have at least one problem in your life.
Never question who you are as a person. You are capable of more than you could have imagined. Remember, nothing is given in this life that is beyond your control.
3. Get out in the sun.
Did you know that sunlight triggers the release of serotonin and endorphins, making you feel happier? It helps keep your bones healthy by producing vitamin D and absorbing calcium. You are now heading to the beach in Mexico because it has positive benefits for your mental and physical health!
Just kidding, of course. It is impossible for everyone. Sometimes you just need to go out and catch your breath and remember that you can get through anything.
Inhale confidence and exhale doubt. Go for a walk during your lunch break. Run alone or go hiking with friends. Participate in club sports. You can always buy a light therapy box if you live in a sunny area.
4. Talk about yourself.
You never really realize how negatively you speak to yourself. We all have moments when we don’t feel like our most attractive selves.
There is a difference between saying “I’m an idiot” and saying “I’m an idiot now”. Talk to yourself more gently. When you look in the mirror, you should say to yourself, “Damn, I look good today, and there’s no one like me in the world, so I must be something special.”
Remember to start each day with a smile when you wake up. If you need to impersonate, that’s fine too. Anyway, you always feel a little better about yourself when you do. If you need smile inspiration, think of someone or something that makes you happy.
5. Reward yourself and learn to love life.
Let’s learn to love life because none of us leave this life alive. Put yourself first sometimes.
Reward yourself! Eat that good food because you deserve it. Take a walk on the wild side. jump into the sea. enjoy. please be ridiculous different. Do what makes your heart shine.
If you’re not threatening, ruining, or hurting anyone, there’s nothing wrong with doing something that sets your heart on fire. Do something because you love it. More importantly, lower your self-esteem and avoid people who make you feel bad about yourself.
6. Listen to podcasts.
Whenever I feel sad, unhappy, or anxious, I listen to podcasts and watch Ted Talks. I love learning from others, especially when I can’t handle my own problems.
Never stop learning because life really never stops teaching you lessons. Learning from the experiences of others helps you overcome your own problems, fears and emotions.
Check out 11 great Ted Talks about depression. They all discuss the importance of mental health. Nick Vujicic’s Overcoming Hopelessness at the end of the list really changed my life.
7. Talk to someone.
It can be difficult to talk about your problems with people close to you. Writing down your feelings may not be enough. When you feel lost or lonely, there is no one to turn to, but I promise you that there will always be someone willing to listen to you.

8. Take care of yourself.
When you exercise, your body releases endorphins that trigger positive emotions. Exercise is a form of therapy. It’s a celebration of your body. Find continuous, rhythmic exercises like weight training, swimming, and Zumba. These help with depression. Eat to love yourself and your body.
Stop worrying about what other people think of you. Most people don’t notice the little things you don’t like about yourself. He can’t love his body 100%, so learn to love it now. A negative mind ruins your concentration.
Remember that progress, no matter how small, is still progress. So start by setting small goals.
9. Meditate.
Timeless and Calm are two of my favorite free daily meditation applications. Meditation can help you clear your head, increase your productivity, and take your mind off the minutiae.
It lowers stress levels, eases anxiety and deepens self-awareness. Did you know that it reduces the risk of heart attack, stroke and even death?
A negative mind prevents you from living a positive life. So start 8 minutes of meditation every morning and end by doing the same thing every night.
10. Be your superhero.
People say, “If you need anything, I’m always here.” Unfortunately that’s not always true. All people are busy figuring out what they are doing with their lives. If someone is away, promise not to take it personally.
Sadly, the fact of the matter is not that no one will be there for you all the time. Talking to a therapist or a friend is the only thing that can save you from depression, anxiety, and suicide. Thinking you can’t keep going increases your strength, but you can keep going.
Remember, you have to get through your worst days to get your best days. Everything you need is inside you. you have to search. Find your strength, compassion, and courage. When you feel good about yourself, you shine differently. So what do you have to lose?
